I've been thinking about this, too, and thinking that now may be the time (for
me) to switch resume formats: that is, rather than explain each position's
activities at length in a chronological fashion, you have kindof a "skill set"
summary as the first page, then have a second page just listing where you
worked, and position title, followed up by specific software knowledge and
education. Something like that.

Then, in a cover letter, or at the end of the resume, you could say, "Detailed
project list and portfolio available at interview" or whatever.

Until recently, my experience wasn't really extensive enough to support this
method--and I feared cautionary tales from people who said this resume style is
sometimes used to disguise lack of experience by emphasising "What I can do"
rather than "What I really have done".

I guess the writer who suggested a "one pager" (sorry, I've forgotten your
name) is a "minimalist". Maybe that's what you need if you're going for a job
that wants minimalism... ;-)

I like the online resume suggestion. How expensive are these Windows Help
programs, anyway? It seems like a fun project--and I can add how to use the
software to my ever-growing list...

Well, back to work or I really will need to update my resume...
