BTW, WPWin can produce RTF files for winhelp, too. Coding in
Word or WPWin without a help authoring tool is basically an
excercise in footnoting. I did a resume that way a year or so ago
for an internal job so I could e-mail something. There is a
WPWin help authoring tool called WP2HELP, but I've never used
it. Our tools people wrote our system here.
Depending on the tools your developers use, you may also be
able to borrow the information/books and files you need from a
friendly developer at your company. For example, the Borland
Turbo C++ compiler and toolkit for Windows comes with all the
info and files you need. It worked for me anyway.
