** This is less of a problem now that the USA has joined the
Berne Convention. Still, a copyright notice is always a good thing.
If you can afford it, you should even pay Uncle Sam to register
your copyright. Registration duly filed on such-and-such a date
will protect you in court, if it comes to that, much better than
a self-addressed envelope. The crook you're up against could even
have a nicely faked envelope of his own.
