3 openings in technical communication:

Documentation Manager
to supervise 7-9 people who develop all documentation for ADP's small-business
payroll application. You will develop style and layout guidelines, select
production tools, oversee documentation for new products and releases; and
manage product life-cycle requirements. You need 5-10 years of experience in
technical communications management.

Technical Writer
to create and maintain user documentation and related publications for ADP's
small-business payroll application, using a variety of research techniques to
gather and test information. You need a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate
field or equivalent work experience, plus 2-3 years of experience writing user
documentation for computer system applications. Further, you need to have
desktop publishing skills.

Technical Editor
to review, edit, and revise drafted documentation submitted by technical writers
for style, content, information mapping, and mechanics. You need a Bachelor's
degree in an appropriate field or equivalent business experience, plus 3 years
of technical editing experience, 2 of which involved editing technical,
computer-system related documentation.

documentation for a financial database application for SCT, Inc., in Malvern,
PA. You will be responsible for about half the functionality of the application,
including maintenance reports and interim releases. You need at least 3 years of
experience in software documentation, and a bachelor's degree in an appropriate
field or the equivalent work experience. You should also know MS Word, either

full-time, regular job for a technical editor to do on-line editing and
production coordination of reports, proposals, and other technical documents for
an environmental consulting firm in West Chester, PA. Part-time, contract
arrangements are also available. You will work with technical staff to plan,
organize and prepare technical documents. You will also be responsible for
coordinating graphics production and printing.

You need a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area plus experience in technical
editing, production coordination, and word processing. Further, you need to be
proficient in MS Word for Windows or Word Perfect 5.1. You also need to be a
strong team player with excellent organizational, coordination, and
communication skills, able to work well under pressure, and able to handle
multiple priorities.
