StarNet, the Arizona Daily Star's on-line edition, is a value-added
news and information service that editor Walt Nett hopes will become
Tucson's kiosk in the global village.
The local Tucson daily will become an Internet access provider, the

Unlike other providers, the day's news will be an added attraction for
potential subscribers who will not only have access to the Star and its
wire services, but will also be able to track down background information
through hypertext.
Walt Nett will explain the features of this new service and what it will
mean for communicators.
