StarNet, the Arizona Daily Star's on-line edition, is a value-added
news and information service that editor Walt Nett hopes will become
Tucson's kiosk in the global village.

The local Tucson daily will become an Internet access provider, the
"on-ramp" to the information superhighway.

Unlike other providers, the day's news will be an added attraction for
potential subscribers who will not only have access to the Star and its
wire services, but will also be able to track down background information
through hypertext.

Walt Nett will explain the features of this new service and what it will
mean for communicators.

Join us Wednesday, March 1
at the Radisson Suite Hotel
6555 E. Speedway Boulevard
in Tucson.

Cost is $15 for IABC members
or $18 for non-members who register before the deadline.
After the deadline, $20.

Registration begins at 11:30
Lunch is served at 12
RSVP to Beth Ann Schmitt, 602-885-5727
before Monday, February 27

IABC is the International Association of Business Communicators, the
professional organization for more than 12,000 communication managers,
