By all means, those interested in discussing particular tools should
do their discussing on the lists devoted to those tools. I understand
there are lists for (at least) Microsoft Word on PC, Windows Help authoring,
Microsoft MediaView, FrameMaker, WordPerfect for Windows, Quark Xpress,
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Adobe Illustrator, PageMaker, and TeX.

Regarding FrameMaker in particular, someone mentioned that the way to
subscribe is to contact framers-request -at- uunet -dot- uu -dot- net . In fact, that
will work, but it will require effort from a human being at the other
end, Phong Co by name. You can do the same thing automatically and
spare Phong by sending "subscribe framers <address>" to
majordomo -at- math -dot- mcgill -dot- ca (<address> being your e-mail address).
