How much editing is done online? 90 to 95%
How long have you edited online? Pretty much the last decade. (10 years).
What tools etc? The editing functions provided by the word processing
system currently in use. (delete copy, insert copy, move copy etc.)
Impact or change: Yes, it is much easier and cleaner.
Other thoughts: It is still a good idea to final read hardcopy and
traditional red-line, just before final release. It is often the case that
an error will be seen on paper that has been missed or overlooked on screen.
