The term "etc." is inappropriate in technical writing, where items that
are important enough to be indicated by the term are important enough
to
be listed explicitly.
Don't use "etc." at the end of a list introduced by "such as" or "for
example."
Even with the pair kerning capability of FrameMaker, I use two spaces
between
sentences (curmudgeon's choice).
