I have several silly questions:
1. I am not a technical writer, but I have to write the on-line help for the
project I am working on. What are some good sources to turn to explaining
how things should be set up, how things should look, what should be included,
what should be left out, whatever. Preferably sources that do not contain a
lot of superfluous material through which I will have to wade.
2. Using ForeHelp, how do I write a superscript, and lower case mu.
3. I have a sentence containing these 2 acronyms - EMEGs (i.e. plural), and
EMEGs (i.e. EMEG for soil). Those who will be using the system should have
no trouble understanding the sentence, but I personally don't like it. Would
you change it, considering the audience should be able to understand it? If
so, how would you change it. I originally wanted to EMEGs (plural), because
it will be readily understood and the it will take up a lot of room to write
out the acronym.
Please contact me directly. Any and all help is much appreciated.
