QUALCOMM is seeking a Software Documentation/Training Specialist for
OmniTRACS. OmniTRACS is a satellite-based mobile communications system that
provides real-time messaging and tracking between fleets and operating
centers.
The position's responsibilities include developing documentation and
training materials for internally-developed software applications, and
teaching customers to use the applications (approximately 70% documentation
and 30% training). Domestic travel is required.
Requirements include:
- Minimum 3 years developing user-friendly software documentation under
minimal supervision.
- Minimum 2 years developing and presenting software applications training
to customers.
- A degree in English, Computer Science, or Education. Certificate in
technical writing or educational technology preferred.
- Macintosh literacy; FrameMaker preferred.
