There is great dissention in the ranks about apostophes and proper
nouns ending in "s" or "z." The CHICAGO MANUAL OF STYLE agrees
with them, but adds:
"The question of how to form the possessive of names of more than
one syllable ending in the sound of s or z probaby occaisions
more dissention among writers and editors of good will than any other
orthographic matter open to disagreement."
