Aspect Development, Inc. is looking for an experienced technical writer.
Located in Mountain View, CA, Aspect offers the excitement and opportunity of
a start-up and the security of an established industry leader. You'll be part
of a small publications group responsible for writing paper and on-line
documentation for the full spectrum of software users, from naive end users to
system administrators to application programmers.
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
o 3-4 years experience writing documentation for software
o experience in writing for end users as well as more technical users
o self starter
o able to juggle several projects
o able to see the big picture
o familiar with UNIX and MS-Windows
o experience in documenting applications that run under UNIX and MS-Windows
o able to create procedural and conceptual documentation
o experience in documentating GUI applications
o FrameMaker
Experience in the following areas is a plus:
o relational databases
o Oracle
o DB2
o Robohelp
o HTML
o data modeling
o EDA/MRP
o object-oriented concepts
