TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I have been a subscriber for a few years now. The amount of money I have
made from this publication has been tremendous in ratio to the subscription
cost.
For those you don't want to subscribe, you can browse their page with
limited access. Even that is good.
And for all you computer geeks that seem to run thick on this mailing list
(down now, only written in good fun), the oportunities are good. I've
noticed a great demand for CATIA, UNIX, AutoCad, PageMaker wizards. So it's
not just geared for HARD engineering types, a.k.a. yours truly. Even you
SOFTware guru's can use the service.
Now that my box will get flooded with derogatory remarks, I'll say again....
... only in good fun!!
