If there are lawyers lurking around the fringes of your documents, you
need to arrange to have them tell you what you should be doing. Listen
respectfully; be friendly. The mere fact that you did this will leave
them less inclined to savage your work. Also, trying to make your work
minimally acceptable to lawyers without wrecking it will do a great
deal to contain the damage.
