Technical writer with 6+ years of experience, looking for new challenges and
opportunities for growth.
Currently generate all print and online documentation for a small software
development group (4 programmers). Responsibilities including planning and
designing documentation, advising on GUI design, researching, writing,
editing, indexing, graphics, and production.
** Platforms: DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, AS/400
** Software expertise in Corel Ventura, Word for Windows, Robohelp, CorelDraw.
Also have used Aldus Pagemaker, Micrographix Designer, Microsoft Access, and
miscellaneous font creation packages.
Received Best of Show awards for both print and online documentation in the
last two years from Chicago chapter STC. Will relocate, but prefer snow in
winter :). Salary requirement $40,000 to $50,000 when analyzed with benefits,
cost of living, and opportunities for advancement.
