Here are the steps:

1. Fire up snapshot utility from UNIX.

2. Snap the image. You get a file called xxx.rs.

3. Open xv application from UNIX.

4. Load the xxx.rs file, and save the file format as bitmap.

5. Transfer the bitmapped file to your pc.

Does anyone know the best way to capture UNIX X-Windows screens? The
final output will be via Word 6.0.

We have tried various UNIX programs with little to no success in
transferring them to Windows.
