I just spent a frustrating half hour or so working with
some back issues of MacUser magazine provided in Acrobat
format. On my full-page ("portrait") display, the text was
illegibly small, and I had to zoom in and out constantly to
(respectively) read articles and find articles. The "find"
function was tedious even on a relatively fast Mac.

A warning: don't ever dump your paper docs online. (Horton
said this years ago; why doesn't anyone listen?) Format
them so they're legible on a typical small monitor, and for
heaven's sake, index your find function.
