Suzanne Pyle asks:

Techwhirlers are you using Netscape Navigator 2.0 or Navigator Gold? Would
you mind, if you are, sharing with us about the benefits of the latest
upgrade? Also what's the Gold version all about? I've tried downloading
Netscape Navigator 2.0 and it gives me an error message that my navplayer.exe
doesn't support the file.
-----------------end of quote-----------------------------------

I think I'm using Netscape 2.0 on a PC clone, but bits of Netscape 1 and of
a beta of Netscape 2 are on the system. I need to do a reinstall and I'm
putting it off until I have an expert standing over me. Ditto for an upgrade
of Trumpet-Winsock.

Even when suffering from the bad installation I prefer it to Netscape 1.

Netscape 2 Gold is STILL in beta. I'd avoid it for production work. It
includes facilities for creating web pages so you MAY want to experiment on
a home machine.

Lists of "improvements", sales literature and bug-lists are available
through Netscape's home page.
