The Cincinnati Editor's Association (CEA) is looking for technical
writing judges for its 29th annual publications contest. Ideally, CEA
is looking for a group, society, association, club, etc., of technical
writers, but not an STC chapter. (We do not want to duplicate or
compete with STC competitions.)

As technical writing judges, your group would be responsible for all
entries in the technical writing category, which consists of three
subcategories (article, brochure, and manual).

In last year's competition, there were about 20 entries, ranging from
items under 100 pages to items over 300 pages. You would receive the
entries in April and they would be due back sometime in May. CEA will
supply the judging forms.

If you are interested, please respond with the name of your group, a
brief description of your group, the number of members, and brief
biographies of the people who would be judging. There is no monetary
payment, but you can expect a good experience and a listing in the
awards banquet program.

Send all responses to Theresa Marchwinski via tmarchwinski -at- dca -dot- com -dot- If
you prefer, call (513) 794-8339.

CEA is celebrating its 50th year as an association for editors,
writers, graphic designers, etc., in the Cincinnati area.
