Cool, a boy and his dog reference?
"Once more into the breach, dear friends..."
:)

Sorry...I realize that Harlan was referencing another author with that
quite is his original short story, then the book, then the movie, and we
all know about Don Johnson's career after that movie. :)

I agree with you. As for posting, first of all, where are these postings
originating from. If a company, and sent from work, then it is, for many
companies (mostly for the company's protection), the property of the
company. I hadn't thought of that. :) Also, most companies make it clear
that email is NOT private. Also, posting to a mailing list, by its
inherent nature, is a public posting, as in posting a notice on a board,
which becomes public property at some point. So, even if I'm way off
base, we are still left with the courts deciding this, I'm afraid.
I submit, once again, that the main purpose for reading this list, is in
enhancing the quality of life, by way of bettering our skills. And isn't
this the basis for education, by which we are legally allowed to copy
protected property? As you can see, this is convoluted. And that means,
lawyers, and that means, I'd rather forget it. :)
Still, thank you all, once again, most kindly.
Gordon
