Or possibly because they don't understand screen sizes, although this is
less likely. Still, the screen size problem is a mistake I made when I
first started. The developer (namely me) has a nice big color monitor
(1024 x 768). Many of my readers have very small color monitors (640 x 480).
Now I'm stuck with a bunch of material that looks fine on my machine -
and I can't resize it without redoing everything.

There's a funny story about this. Sun is one of the big interface people
pushing the "no scrolling" rule. And they developed their Web pages on
huge 15" screens. Guess what happens when you look at their pages...
