HKS seeks a technical writer to produce online and
printed user documentation for ABAQUS, an engineering
analysis software package. This is a full-time,
permanent position with full benefits.

To be considered for the job, you must have the
following qualifications:

o A four-year degree in engineering, the sciences,
or mathematics.
o Significant technical writing experience.

You must be able to grasp and document complex
engineering concepts, and to learn and work
independently.

To produce the documentation, you will be expected
to use ABAQUS, interview developers, and read product
specifications written by developers. You will be
writing the documentation in SGML on a Unix workstation.
(Knowledge of SGML and Unix are pluses, not requirements.)

HKS is an internationally recognized leader in the
development of finite element software for engineering
calculations. We are a multi-national firm headquartered
in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, just north of Providence and
convenient to I-95.
