Carpal tunnel syndrome: all in your head?

For what it's worth:

Recently, I was worried that I was developing the early
stages of carpal tunnel syndrome. Well, I hied me off to a
chiropractor on another mission, and asked him to check me
out. After a brief and inexpensive investigation, he found
the source of the pain and numbness in my neck, not in my
wrist. After he "cracked" ('scuse... "adjusted") my neck a
few times (less painful than it sounds!), my fingers and
wrists began feeling much better. They're not 100% yet,
mind you, but definitely better. If your med plan covers
chiropractic, it might be worth looking into before you go
for surgery or other drastic measures.
