At the Society for Technical Communicator's Conference in Seattle this
week, Corey Bridges and James Hom of Netscape announced that HTML Help
technology is currently shipping in beta copies of Navigator 3.0. A
software development kit which will provide for context-sensitive help
is going to be available "sometime soon."

So, it looks like the 2-3 years Microsoft was estimating for the switch to
HTML have arrived already....
