Hi, Lawrence/All:

I'm all for it. As a translator, I have been lurking in techwrland for more
than a year, trying to learn what makes writers tick. The information, I
believe, makes me, a translator, more efficient.

Learning that probably a majority of technical writers use FrameMaker, I
started dabbling at it six months back. I now get jobs formatted in Frame
because I am one of the few translators in Rio de Janeiro who can use
FrameMaker.

I see that the future holds a less paper-dependent solution for getting
information to customers. This also has implications for me as a translator.

But that probably was not the reason for starting the thread. Or was it?

Cheers
