Latin: an apology

Subject: Latin: an apology

My last effusion on the use of Latin words and phrases should have ended
<g,d and r>.

Apologies.

I fear my default style can be, and has been, read as an unwarranted and
unmeant attack on earlier posters.

I'll try to do better in future.

Dead dogs and over-ripe tomatoes delivered to my e-mail address will be
forwarded to our provincial premier. Dented cans of tuna will be kept for
the minister who recommended them as a diet for the poor and told them (the
poor) to bargain over the price.

When a rich man is fallen, he hath many helpers: he speaketh things not to
be spoken, and yet men justify him: the poor man slipped, and yet they
rebuked him too; he spake wisely, and could have no place --- Ecclesiasticus
XIV, xxii
