Janice,

I have a two-page "newsletter" that briefly describes Compose's features.
Unfortunately, it's a poor quality copy and probably would not "fax" very
well.
The email address for Software Partners is
info -at- buckaroo -dot- com
Their fax number is 415-428-0163.
They may be able to fax you the information.

Kathy

Hi,

To Jay Stockbridge
We've just started using Adobe Acrobat for intradepartmental use
and review of online documents, over a network. It seems to work
fine. The reader is available at Abobe's homepage. It is very
easy to convert a file into pdf format. Although font embedding
is a bit tricky. We use the note feature for annotated review of
the documents.

To Isabelle Hannich
Adobe Acrobat might work in your environment also. We haven't
found a need to do our documentation in straight SGML. For online
documentation development, HTML is the language of choice,
especially for the world-wide-web. In fact, Acrobat's next
release is supposed to have HTML capability. FrameMaker already
has HTML capability. Also, I hear that MicroSoft is supposed to
be abandoning Windows help in favor of HTML. I'll be watching for
this development.

Trainor, Kathleen
I'm also interested in Compose (by Software Partners) and its
features. Can anyone give me more information on this tool?
