Sorry, gotta amend my post below (about editing incoming email using Eudora).
Wasn't actually awake when I wrote that! (I was only "virtually" awake <G>!)
You do have to "reply" to the mail to change anything about it, but you don't
have to send it to anyone -- you can just close the editing window and save
your changes. The edited "reply" will be in the Out box, from which you can
move it wherever you like.
BTW, I consider this ability of MS Exchange (to edit everything about incoming
e-mail) to be a potential risk. It sounds like it would be possible (with a bit
of work) to (1) receive an e-mail, (2) edit it however you like, and (3) send
it back out without it showing any sign of having been editted ...
And it's time to put this off-topic discussion to bed. Good night!

Nothing new there -- Eudora Lite lets me do it, too. As usual with MS,
they don't have an original bone in their bodies (in fact, they inspired
my use of the cliche!) <G>

Well, son of a gun! I'll have to check that out. I use Eudora Pro at
home and never came across this. In fact, I'm almost positive that I've
accidentally tried to edit incoming mail without hitting the reply
button, and it wouldn't let me do it. Maybe there is an option I can set
to allow it.
