Can't really answer your question, but you might visit the Corel web site
(www.corel.com). They have an area for CorelVentura that includes (I think)
tech support and trouble shooting tips.

Subject: Corell VP problem
Hi again,
Say, anyone use Ventura that comes with Corell 5.0? I have tried loading the
entire 18 disks twice now, everything but Ventura works fine. When I double
click on VP the drive activates for a few seconds then nothing. Any suggestions?
