Hi All!!
I've been lurking on the list for about one week now and have finally decided to jump in and make myself known.
I'm a babe in the woods when it come to actual real-life technical writing experience. I have a strong computer background (no programming), I have taken a technical writing course, and I've assisted in writing technical proposals and manuals.
My questions: How do I break into the field? What types of companies should I be targeting? I'm living in Cincinnati, Ohio right now but will be moving to Austin, Texas at the beginning of '97.
