IMO, "dialog [box]" and "window" are bona-fide software terms. They're universally recognized and accepted. "Screen," on the other hand, is ambiguous both in the context of a GUI (it's not an object per se) and in the tangible world (it's used interchangeably with "monitor" and "display").
