ParcPlace-Digitalk, Inc., the market leader in providing object-oriented
software tools for client/server/web based applications, is looking for a
TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS DIRECTOR! In this role you will be responsible
for managing and leading the techncial publications function. You will
implement departmental structure and a vision for the Technical
Publications department.

Your primary responsibilites will be managing talented senior
level technical writers, managing the integration of product
documentation, managing the development of both online and printed
deliverables, and working with other departments such as customer
techncial support and QA.

Successful candidates will have experience managing a technical
publications function in a highly technical area. Specifically
experience with documenting software tools (object-oriented) is needed.
BSCS or degree in Techical writing is preferred, and experience or basic
knowledge of programming is helpful. Any experience with Smalltalk is
very helpful too!

A strong desire to work closely with softwre engineers in a very
technical environment is a must!
