There are at least two good reasons to maintain printed documentation.

Where do you look for answers when the program does not run, or you can
not get to the settings screen or menu for the relevant help, or if the
whole system locks up when you try to run a function?

Also, for a complex procedure with many steps, it may difficult to read
the on-screen steps while attempting the procedure with several windows
open. It may be easier to look off-screen for each step, leaving all of
your work windows visible.
