EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or Community College degree in relevant technical field
or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The position focuses on online documentation; development tools include
RoboHelp, Word 6.0, Corel products, other graphics packages, and HTML.
Reporting to Software Development Manager, with minimum supervision, you:
- are responsible for timely production of all technical documentation and
graphic design and production supporting RDS products
- co-ordinate, produce, and provide consultation on documentation and
graphic design
- design, analyse, implement, maintain, train users, and support multimedia
products
- participate in all stages of the publication process including:
researching, writing and maintaining of documentation
- participate with software developers by focusing on ease of use/learning
concerns
Skills and Experience
- demonstrated experience in technical communication, publishing concepts,
and project management
- 5+ years in documenting computer systems, or equivalent
- demonstrated experience using current online help tools and technology
- strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with
senior management and technical development staff; and to translate
technical message to a target audience
- ability to commit to, and meet deadlines in a broad, product-driven
environment
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to conform to documentation and graphic standards
- bilingualism an asset
