I'm not a fan of .PDF documentation. It never seems to be the right size on
screen.

If you are thinking of putting your documents into HTML, why not deliver
them to the customer in that form?

The file sizes will probably be smaller than .PDF, and the users can always
choose to get updated versions from your WWW site if they want to.

There's no reason why they can't view a local copy to get help.
