I prefer to get the individual messages. That way I can
throw out (or---occasionally---archive) the babies after I've
read them, and mass-delete the bathwater to recycle
the electrons for use in future messages. Drivel is a tad less
irritating if you regard it as electronic compost.

Works for me, anyway.
