Integrated Documentation, Inc., Dallas? premier professional
documentation outsourcing and consulting firm, has an
immediate opening for a senior technical writer with ISO
software/system engineering process documentation experience.

Position Description

Work with Software Engineering and Systems Engineering groups
to understand and document processes to be included in ISO 9000
certification effort. Attend all process-related meetings to achieve
understanding of processes to be documented and then document
them. End result will be complete set of process description
documentation for all Software Development and Systems
Engineering activities conducted by department (approximately
40-50 documents).

Mandatory Requirements

- Five to seven years technical writing experience in areas directly
related to software.
- Three or more years of creating technical documentation with
FrameMaker, and at least one year of FrameMaker under Unix.
- Two or more years experience with software development and
software development processes.
- Must be an independent worker, comfortable and effective with
minimal supervision.
- Must be able to meet scheduled deadlines and to ?engage and
motivate? engineers to provide input.
- Four-year degree in English or equivalent.

Secondary Requirements

- Experience documenting ISO 9000 procedures and processes.
