Sometimes I switch to graphics. Spending a day working all the
various sketches into the illustrations for a book helps. Making
the product icon, splash screen, installation billboards... That
kind of stuff.

If time permits, take a day "off" -- clean out your techwr-l
mailbox, work on the doc plan for the next product, catch up
on your filing.

Sometimes, though, you need to keep plugging away at things. Change
focus -- work on a different chapter or do "layout" stuff.

Take a break. Put your favorite CD in the slot, put your feet up,
close your eyes... Five minutes later your ready to go again.

Make notes about the things you'll do better next time.
