it simply makes no sense really to translate it. We could not even agree on
"technischer Autor" (technical writer) or "technischer Redakteur" (technical
editor) being the higher qualified title. In the meantime (remember, that was
in 1989) something like "technical communicator" could be much more
appropriate
for people like me who write Winhelp and maintain an Internet site.
