Schlumberger Electricity North America, a division of Schlumberger Measurements & Systems, located in West Union, SC (near Clemson University), is in search of a technical writer with 3-5 years experience in documenting Windows-based Software with an emphasis on developing context-level help files and online manuals.
Responsibilities
The writer will work closely with Marketing and Software Engineers to produce field-level help files using RoboHelp and online user's manuals using FrameMaker and Acrobat Pro. Must be able to work independently from design documents and programmer's notes, as well as troubleshoot context string linking problems. Excellent communication skills required, as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Education
BA/BS in English, Journalism, Technical Communication.
