I recently converted a help file to HTML using BlueSky-RoboHELP 4's
help-to-HTML conversion tool. I was evaluating RH 4 for inhouse use.
(The help file was originally developed using RH 95.) The only items
that weren't converted were A-links. TOC, tables, index, jumps, and
popups (converted to jumps) all converted fine. BlueSky says that they
will support the A-link macro once the browsers do. I viewed the HTML
files using both Internet Explorer and Internet Assistant. The only
other issue I had with this tool is that it doesn't allow you to select
which HTML tags you want to use for each of your paragraph styles.
Instead, you must except the tool's interpretion of your styles.

It doesn't; at least, not yet.

RH 4 does. It has a specific tool called the What's This Composer which
allows you to interface with various application program files to pull
the help IDs. This feature only works with specific compilers. I didn't
test it though.

Hope this helps, Dee
