John Posada asks:

"When discussing temperature, does the Gulf region (Saudi Arabia, Arab Emerates,
Egypt, etc.) express temp using centegrade (C) or farenheit (F)?"

They, and almost every other civilized country, use Celsius (C). The only
countries I know of that still report temperatures in Fahrenheit are the UK
(despite over 20 years of metrification), the US, and sometimes Canada.

BTW, Egypt is not properly in the Gulf Region, which includes only those states
bordering the Persian (or Arabian, depending on who you talk to over there)
Gulf: Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Abu Dhabi, and maybe
one or two others at the east end of the Arabian Peninsula.
