There was some discussion of revision numbering and release procedures bu I
don't recall much directed toward electronic updates. I am trying to design a
system for controlling material that has been released through a BBS and will
now be available on a Web site. How do you track item? Solve the age-old
problem of which version the user has? In effect have the accounting in the
user's hands. Any specific examples and general philosophies appreciated.
