knew, if a door to a public building doesn't open outward, it's a bad
design no matter what type of handle it has. In a fire, a crowd may
push against the door -- preventing the person closest to the door
from opening it."
What is even more scary, today the *in thing* seems to be that the
right door (as you are leaving the building) is LOCKED, routinely! I
find this at banks and at stores. (Even the company where I work,
believe it of not!)
I have asked about and I was told everything from, "Its fire
regulations", or helps prevent thefts, etc.. I think the world is
going nuts.
