There are several sources on proper citations for
web and online references.

Here's one that I like to give out:

http://h-net2.msu.edu/~africa/citation.html

"A BRIEF CITATION GUIDE FOR INTERNET SOURCES IN HISTORY AND THE
HUMANITIES (Version 2.1)"

It also has a good biblio listing.
