I didn't see anything wrong with that job advertisement.  Most true Type A
people probably wouldn't.

I don't work 60hr (or more) weeks to "prove I'm dedicated" or to "define who I
am".  They hired me because they knew I'd be dedicated and I KNOW who I am (of
course, it took 40 years to figure it out).  I work 60 hour weeks for the
money, which based on the fact that it probably added about $30k of the $90k to
my income last year, greatly contributed to improvements to my life. This
includes the toys that I can buy, the entertainment that I can enjoy, the
places that I can travel to, and being single, the different class of women
that I can "associate" with.

I wholeheartedly agree with you Chris! I would always put my family's needs
above all else.  A job comes and goes, but my family will always be there.  And
when I'm old and gray, I will depend on it, not on some job I had.

I don't mind putting in some overtime here and there, but I would not work
60hrs a week on a regular basis just to 'prove' that I am dedicated.
