TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.

Los Trancos Systems, L.L.C., a Silicon Valley provider of electronic
publications and information services, is looking for people who have a
demonstrated ability to write technical material and have experience in
using the basic computer skills: Microsoft Word or Framemaker, Netscape
Navigator or MS Internet Explorer, MS Excel or Lotus 1-2-3.
Our internships are entry level positions in technical writing. We offer
a year-long program of training in a variety of computer tools, along
with practical experience working on projects for our clients. The
client work can involve preparation of books and manuals, creation of
teaching material (both standup and online), presentations, proposals,
use of graphics programs (including VRML), work with databases, and
intranet and internet projects.
