OK, my bad. I was referring to the specific situation that was brought up in
the original posting. I should have said that. In this case, it sounds like
the editor added words that did not belong there. I argue that it is the
editor's responsibility to make sure whatever edits are made *do not* change the
meaning of the article. Otherwise, it is sloppy editing.
