One way:
Rename the files from *.pm5 to *.txt. Open a new document in Word and go to
Insert/File... and select the *.txt file. Select 'Convert from Text Only.'
You'll get a lot of unreadable format crap, but you'll also get the plain
text, which you can save.
You can also read the texty in any document using a hex editor or even a text
editor like Notepad or write.
