My Unix/DOS bias (note that rm is a Unix shell command) rules the first
two out immediately since they already have a predefined meaning to
Unix/DOS shells.
I'm confused here. I prefer to use b). The UNIX books I have,
including the nutshell books which are pretty well accepted, use
method b). I agree method a) is not a good idea since some folks
will surely type the brackets. But, I don't understand what you mean
about method b).
